Responsible tourism
Ghannah Lodge is the result of a charity plan of a Belgian youth association, dedicated to protect the environment, to provide employment and to assure a education plan for the local Bedouins.
This sustainable development project is run by passionate people who care about your holiday and about the environment and local people.
As-well the service at Ghannah Lodge than the proposed desert or cultural tours are provided by the local Bedouins, specialists in their chosen fields.
In Ghannah Lodge, a responsible travel experience is more than a simple holiday, the program’s are designed in a more thoughtful way to help you relax and rejuvenate or bring you closer to local people, their cultures and nature.
For Ghannah Lodge, the responsible travel is a way to help local people to earn a fairer income from tourism, to support local conservation and social projects, and ensures that any negative environmental or cultural impacts are reduced.
We intend to play our part in re-inventing the tourism for the long term benefit of tourists, local community and the world’s natural and cultural heritage.
The issue of the Belgian Youth Association ” Kids 4 Kids” is to prove that together we can change the way we travel forever.
We know that nothing is perfect, but we try to serve as an example and we like to welcome people from all over the world who share with us the thoughts on how we can improve the economical and social situation of the locals while having a holiday which leaves you a taste of a life time experience.
