Cairo International Airport development project is completed. Terminal 3 will begin operating in August 2008 and will welcome more than 11 million passengers a year doubling the current capacity of the other two existing terminals (already representing 9 million passengers). Cairo
international airport may undergo additional developments within the forthcoming years. Its capacity could treble then and rise 50 million passengers a year over the next 30 years. The official inauguration of T3 will take place in October.
